About the event
During this 2-hour workshop, you will learn traditional Chinese calligraphy brush strokes and basic Chinese painting techniques. May will introduce you to the structure of Chinese characters and demonstrate simple painting motifs, such as flowers and landscape. After practising, you will design and decorate your very own bamboo lantern, bringing together calligraphy and painting to create a beautiful festive keepsake.
